Monday Meal Ideas: Great lockdown bake off

Last week I was home from work early with a sick kid (rinse, repeat again for me this morning) so I decided to whip up a little arvo tea for the kids like I used to do ALL the time when I was working from home. It made me feel good, the kids were delighted and we had so much for lunchboxes the next day it really made me wish I had the time to do this more often. Thought I would share some of my faves for the week ahead as I know lots if you are home and could use the comfort of a baked good.

How are you going and how is your week ahead looking? Silly questions I know when so many of you are stuck in lockdown and feeling miserable. I hope that you are OK, and that the week ahead can be filled with some small moments of joy or victory: getting through a washing pile, getting through home schooling ok, enjoying some exercise, I really do hope you are doing ok. Stay strong and safe at this shite time x

Comments

  1. Lemon sour cake must be popular at home you’ve posted the recipe three times.

  2. Well this is rather dangerous. My lockdown activity of choice has become baking unfortunately my other activity of choice is eating said baked goods. Pray for fine weather, I need to go walking 😁
