Monday meal ideas: EASTER

I don’t want to alarm anyone, but Easter is THIS WEEK. As in this Friday is good Friday. I know! It was just Christmas, and it’s still entirely too hot for any kind of enjoyable Easter, but it’s here and there’s nothing that can be done to change it. At least we are all in for a shorter week.

Here’s my round up of Easter entertaining ideas. I’ve got a very busy week of baking ahead of me with our big School fundraiser on Easter Saturday at our annual village markets. I’m going to be very busy with prepping for that, getting the School ready, and then thinking about Easter with the family after that. It’s always a crazy weekend, but much loved by the girls. Bring on Sunday I say when we can chill out. Fingers crossed for good weather too!

  1. Thanks Beth. Your slow cooked lamb and hot cross bun bread and butter pudding are on the menu for us this Easter. It’s our first Easter staying at home, just the 5 of us, and I am looking forward to starting a few of our own traditions.

Good luck with the fete. Our fete was last weekend and I gave your date loaf and “Anne” recipes a good work out. Made everything early and whacked it into the freezer so it made a busy week a little easier.

  2. Some awesome Easter inspiration, as always 🙂
