Last week (was it really last week?!) we celebrated our annual Friend’s Christmas dinner at Lucy and Chris’ place for a group of our mates in the village. This was the crew that went to Jugiong on our first annual trip away (I really must do a post on that trip over this break) who all live in the village, or like us for now, in Robbo. It’s a favourite of mine for many reasons: a chance for us to all catch up without kids, dress up, drink up and enjoy som superior food which we know will come from this group of friends. It’s funny isn’t it, how we end up in corners of the world with like minded people? I’m not sure how we all found each other but I sure am glad that we have.
It’s a bring a plate situation: some on canapés, some on salads (me) others on a baked ham and some chickens on the weber with potatoes. It was all sensational.
How can even the ham look so good? The Mrs Munro flourish of course!
And then our next favourite parts: we go around the table and talk about your personal highs and lows for there year which always remind us how lucky we all are to have each other and then the secret Santa which we can steal from each other…another favourite which always becomes ruthless.
I personally think my present I bought were the best there and perfect that our hosts ended up with them as we all piled out the door before midnight. Thanks Lucy and Chris for having us all…it was perfect!
You might like to see some of the other events we have had over the years..always a feast fore the eyes!
Hi Beth, fabulous photos. Can I ask where your sister Lucy’s gorgeous sparkly sequin jacket is from?
