Easter 2018

Well here we are, Monday night of the long weekend. I am most definitely more tired than I was at the start of it (hello end of daylight savings that saw Maggie asleep on the couch at 5.55pm tonight) and markets and visitors and lunches out and late nights…

Easter was everything I wished it to be, and more. Filled with happy kids and late nights, community spirit and huge efforts by Rob and the village. I love everything about it, even though it almost kills us with effort.

We started the weekend with my younger sister, kids and mayhem, filled it in between with my sister and her kids from Melbourne and ended it in the same way tonight with Luce, Archie and Dots. The light was glorious, the trees a picture and with my heart a whole lot fuller than it was a few days ago.

And now, somehow, we have 2 more weeks of school left! At least we can then soak up those 2 weeks of holidays without Easter getting in the way. I’ll just be needing a little extra energy to get us all through!

Hope you guys all had a wonderful Easter filled with many new wonderful memories. There’s nothing like it is there?

What did you get up to?
Enjoy your holidays if you have them your way…
And for the rest of us, DIG DEEP!

We had a lovely Easter. A combination of beautiful weather, beach time, family time and friends time. I also finished reading “Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine”. Thanks for the reading tip. I love it – I smiled, laughed and cried again and again.

  2. It was so lovely to meet you in person on Saturday and thank you for being so warm and welcoming. The markets were fantastic and Burrawang is such a pretty village. We will be back to explore a bit more when it’s a bit quieter!

  3. How special is cousin time – fab memories to be cherished. Lovely photo of you and your Mum and sisters.
    Thanks for sharing!
