We’ve another bloody freezing morning here – frosts again – the only upside is that these mornings make way for the most gorgeous sunshiny days here. I think that the weather is set to warm up a little in this week which will make us all believe that Springtime might actually be here.
As soon as the weather warms up I am drawn to salads this time of year. A health kick and change of eating habits kick which means one thing: Salad. Here are some of my faves that may get a run this week if the temperature gets above 20 degrees.
Deconstructed Pumpkin Salad
Fattoush Salad
ANCIENT GRAIN & HERB SALAD
Risoni Salad
And here are some more…
SPRING SUPER SALAD
ROASTED VEGETABLE & QUINOA SALAD
ANCIENT GRAIN & HERB SALAD
THAI CHICKEN NOODLE SALAD
FAT MOLE SALAD
THAI STYLE BBQ CHICKEN SALAD
How’s your week ahead looking? It’s going to be a busy one for me as I will be busily prepping for my Spring Fling lunch on Saturday. Lots of cooking and faffing about in between normal life. 2 weeks of the school term to go I think every kid in this family is exhausted, sick and sleeping badly. Limping to the school holidays…bring them on!
Hope you all have a great week friends!
Hi Beth,
My friend just introduced me to your blog, because I am in the midst of starting one myself. I thought I would have a quick look and then make dinner for tonight……… but I have been reading for an hour or so now and it has been so insightful and entertaining. Oh, and I haven’t started dinner. Thakyou for sharing, a real inspiration. And a lot of work ahead of me.
