Good morning friends, what a weird time this is for so many of this. The world in a lockdown and isolation, as this virus takes hold. It’s scary for sure isn’t it? I am keeping cool and putting into practice the things we should be doing as well as staying at home as much as we can. Thought I would share some good recipes for soup that last a while and can be frozen as well for later. I love a good batch of soup as it always lasts so much longer than a normal meal and when it’s warm and served it just feels like nourishment, comfort and safety all in one in a bowl.
Here are some recipes you might like to try this week as the weather cools down a little (we had the fire on all weekend!).
ROASTED PUMPKIN SOUP
TOMATO & RISONI SOUP WITH PESTO
VEGETABLE SOUP
5 MINUTE WONTON SOUP
PUMPKIN & GINGER SOUP
BOTTOM OF THE VEGGIE CRISPER SOUP
CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
ZUCCHINI & PARMESAN SOUP
MUSHROOM, SPINACH & PEA SOUP
CHICKEN & VEGETABLE SOUP
How is your week ahead looking? I’m unsure what will be happening with schools closing this week so I am trying to balance that with work, some deadlines due and of course everything else in between…we have weekend sport starting back ups (I think?!) so that will bring training and prep with that. It’s going to be an ever changing and interesting week I think friends, be kind to each other, stay well, help someone out who might need it and keep your cool!
Have a good week friends x
Well it’s pay week for me which usually means grocery shopping, so that’s going to be…. interesting.
