Friday night I was thrilled to head into a freezing cold and misty Robbo night to go to the opening of the brand new Moonacres Kitchen which has recently been refurbished and reimagined into the ultimate place to see paddock to plate in practice.
You might remember me mentioning this local organic veggie farm on the blog before and seen this film that Rob made.

Phil & his team took over an exisiting cafe In Robertson a few years ago and have finally reopened after a huge renovation. The place looks amazing and is hardly recognisable from the place it once was. The cafe was packed on Friday night with builders, suppliers, farmers and customers all keen for a look at the new look.
We headed there for lunch on Saturday and enjoyed a delicious meal with the kids and I have become addicted to the superior sourdough that is being baked in that kitchen. It’s so exciting to see a place like this come to our area – I hope it’s a huge success for them. Add it to your itinerary next time you are in the Highlands!
