Autumn in the Village

After getting some deadlines done this morning and Daisy proudly declaring that she was onto her 6th episode of Merlin on the iPad I decided it was time to get out of the house…and fast. We went for a walk into the village to the park at School were we caught up with some friends for a play, saw some other friends riding their horses and then hobbled home again (OK I hobbled).

The village is looking GLORIOUS in all its Autumn splendour. So many reds this year…maybe because of the good rain we have had? In any case every tree (that hasn’t been massacred by the tree cutting service that has just gone through town making sure there is enough clearance for the power lines that is) is red or yellow, orange or still to turn. Most of our trees at home are all still green, but there’s plenty of colour out there.

Has Autumn arrived at your place yet?
It truly is a beautiful time of the year don’t you think?
