Hour of POWER

You hear those first few bars and mid conversation you are UP. You NEED TO DANCE TO THAT SONG RIGHT NOW. So you’re up. On the floor. Pumping it out. Jumping despite the fact that you have no pelvic floor muscles anymore and you are basically wetting your pants. Oh wait, that’s just me.

We have a band booked for the soiree Saturday evening – what for the sophisticated muzak when guests arrive and through dinner. Sure, they will be some dancing post dinner but once that bands stops at 11pm I have on my hands what I’m calling the HOUR OF POWER. Which is my iPod loaded with an hour full of tunes that will ensure that EVERYBODY is on that dance floor.

Now I just need to work out WHAT those tunes are. Hit me up people, with your number 1 dance floor song. Please just don’t say “Celebrate good times” because then we can’t be friends. Or Loveshack. I was thinking of opening with “Get Lucky” but that’s because it’s MY iPod. Not sure the farmers will agree though? Although that said, Mrs Woog is coming to the ball and I’m not sure what the farmers are going to think of her. Fullstop.

So. Go! Think about that song and hit up a sister would ya?

Shots taken from the ball post last year. I do believe the song in shot two was “Moves like Jagger” Except that’s not Jagger, that’s the butcher.
