This afternoon we arrived up in the beautiful Whitsundays landing on Hamilton Island. It was just I imagined it to be: crystal clear waters with dark green islands popping up in between. We had to catch a ferry back to the mainland to Airlie Beach where we are staying for the next 2 nights. It’s hot and humid, the sun was warm and the breeze was warm – quite the contrast to the first frost of ice on my car at home this morning.
The next few days there will be some learning and teaching. There will be plenty of sightseeing and sunshine. There will be some drinking and fun. There will be much instagramming. And for me, there will be much brain picking from all these seriously smart people that are here that I have so much to learn from.
I just about can’t wait.

Working. Snort! Sorry, I’m only just a very slight shade of green, cue the bitchy comments apparently?! Absolutely one of my favourite parts of the world you lucky duck. I’m mostly jealous of the fab location, but also of the learning and brain picking you’ll be doing, sounds brilliant. I am going slightly insane only being able to instagram whilst standing tippy toed on one foot with my arm in the air and tongue sticking out. Stupid remote living. Have a ball Beth xxx
