Maggie is 15 months old!

Facebook showed me earlier this week that this time last year Maggie looked like this:

And now look at her! 15 months old.

I’m with you girlfriend, it’s entirely too much to deal with. I can’t EVEN.

Miss Maggie Roslyn ticked over 15 months a week or so ago (on my birthday in fact) and while I struggle to remember her age when people ask me and usually answer with “she’s one. And a bit” I have just figured out that’s she 15 months. And ADORABLE.

The end of winter has seen someone in our family perpetually sick. It starts with Harps (always with Harps) then moves through us all over about a 3 week period and then? Harps complains of a sore throat! It’s been such a fun winter. NOT. I guess it’s to be expected after the whooping cough debacle earlier in the year – immune systems are lower than normal and unless you can live in a bubble at home doing nothing and going nowhere, you are good to go.

Life at the moment is pretty quiet and slow for Miss M. Days spent getting the girls out the door then we have our lovely long mornings together pottering about at home if we can in our pj’s in the sunshine with Frank. She goes down for a sleep around 10.30/11am (depending on how early she has gotten up) then we have lunch and run around with the big two for the afternoon and evening. It’s very ritual based and predictable, but she’s very happy with it. Me too. I can get work done while she sleeps – sometimes rolling a 3 hour sleep!

We’ve certainly been seeing more of her beloved ARCH as well as some other visitors we’ve had to come and stay for a night or a few days. We’ve had Rob’s Mum a week or so ago, and last week my Dad & Step Mum.

And Maggie had her first sleepover with Grandma 2 weeks ago (and survived of course) so did I. It was HARD leaving her. I am so much worse at leaving my kids than I ever used to be. Maybe because I don’t have that desire to escape that I once had when the girls were younger. They are lovely to hang around now, and as helpful as ever with Missy.

So here we are Mags. The dirt looks and side eyes come thick and fast at the moment but you are an absolute delight to be around. Funny. Kind. Loving. And I am enjoying our precious time together more than I ever imagined I would.

It’s true!

Love you little lady, more than you’ll ever know.

Mags is the cutest, most adorable kid EVER!!! Those facial expressions are just a hoot, I’d be laughing at her, and with her all day long……. She is growing so fast, and if it’s possible she’s getting cuter xxx

  4. Such beautiful photos of Miss Maggie. I miss 3 hour long naps – I’m guessing when number three arrives that they won’t get those types of naps as we run around after the older two {or maybe I’m wrong}.
