Monday meal ideas: Salads

It’s taken me many weeks to finally feel like we are in the swing of the school year, but with healthier kids and routines well and truly underway I feel like I can re-start my kick to the health front. I was doing so well with my exercise with my sister but it literally all turned upside down when the girls got sick and EVERYTHING got pushed down the list of importance. But it’s time. Time to start to eat a little better, and get moving again. Again.

For me this week it means less meat, definitely less cakes and scoops of lemon curd. Time for salads, water, and the pavement. Sounds like fun doesn’t it? A few of these will get a run this week, that’s for sure.

I hope you all have a good week ahead…hope you can get something healthy into your week as annoying as it is, a little exercise and good food really does do wonders for you. So does cake, but this healthy business comes with no guilt and added smugness!
