I’m in the depths of a cold, with a 5 year old who has been MUCH sicker and on Redipred, and I am a gazillion months pregnant. That calls for one thing: SWEETS. Dessert. Cake. Whatever, give it to me. Here’s a selection of easy desserts for you to whip up for afternoon tea or for dessert, if that’s your kind of thing. There’s no cacao or avocado in sight, but plenty of butter and sugar.
Lemon Sour Cake
Apple caramel crumble
World’s best chocolate cake
Lemon Delicious Pudding
And if that’s not enough for you, here’s a post with a further 9 recipes for you. Becuae butter makes it better.
Baking Bonzanza
I do hope that we all turn a corner pretty early on this week…I need to get better for a kid free weekend coming up and a gazillion things to get done before then. Good luck friends, dig deep x
Yum!
Not healthy but very tasty!
Hi Baking Guru Beth,
You’ve just reminded me of something… I have to bake for the school cake stall soon, so can you please tell me the best things to bake? What are the best sellers – I mean 100% WINNERS so I’m not standing there all day!! Any guidance would be greatly appreciated from this inexperienced-1st-child-in-Kindergarten Mamma. B x
Oooh good luck…I haven’t ever written a post on that but I know someone who has…here you go! http://retromummy.com/2014/07/22/what-to-bake-for-the-cake-stall/
Thanks Beth. You’ve saved me! B x
Hi Beth. Its funny how all the yummiest things are loaded with sugar and fat! Everything in moderation right? The Apple Caramel Crumble has my name on it – delicious 🙂
Always the way!
