How was your weekend? Host a Christmas gathering of some description? Or did you go to one? It’s certainly the time of the year for it isn’t it? I thought I’d share a few ideas for things that you can take when you are asked to bring a plate. Salads are always good, but here’ some other ideas for you too.
Kale Chips
Chilli mango salsa on pineapple wafers
Chilli tuna dip with dukkah
Bruschetta on Garlic bread
How’s the week ahead looking? We have 3 more days of school left (thank goodness that we’re nearly there and thank goodness that I still have a few days of peace and quiet and planning for Christmas time without being told that I need to make some food, or find something to do. We have the year 6 dinner and disco tonight (it’s ALL happening) then some running around and a trip to Sydney next weekend for quite a few Christmas catch ups and Archie’s 1st Birthday! In fact…I have to bring a plate! Dessert though…was thinking a couple of pavs with lemon curd and raspberries. I also need to get cooking pickled cucumbers for teachers presents…it never stops round here…bring on the holidays!!!
