Monday Meal Ideas: Family faves

Here we are, term 4. Holidays have been and gone way too fast and now we jump into the busiest time of the year. Somehow?! This week as we settle back into routine I’ll be looking for dinners that are easy for me to whip up and that the kids will demolish. Time for us all to get back into the swing of things again, and these dinners will do that for me.

Baked Chorizo risotto
Home made chicken kebabs
Chicken pot pies
Tortellini New York

How is your week ahead looking? Melbourne, I know how much you guys are struggling with continued lock down, if you have kids back at school today though, I hope that’s a victory for you and the kids. If not, stay strong. We are thinking of you. I hope the rest of you have a good start to a new term, hope you get some time in this glorious spring sunshine. I hope you are kind to yourself, it’s been one hell of a year, and you are doing great. I hope to get a little time carved out just for me whether it’s reading my book, sitting in the sun or going for a walk.

Have a great one friends x

  1. These look delicious and easy! Which is just what I need with back to school. I’m exhausted by the end of the day teaching and then running home to my own kids. Will be making some of these for sure

  2. The baked risotto looks awesome, I’ll definitely try it next week. School holidays for two weeks here (Scotland) so we’re off to a cottage in the Lake District for a few days – one of the few things we’re allowed to do as our lockdown never lifted fully & has tightened up again recently. Could be a long winter! The pics of the gorgeous Aussie spring bring me so much joy though, keep em coming!
