Monday meal ideas: Biscuits & Slices

Well hello friends at the start of another week, they sure come round fast don’t they? I baked a little slice yesterday afternoon (I’ll get that recipe on the blog this week) and marvelled at the joy of a good slice. Crumbly, tasty little morsels that are perfect with a cup of team, for a lunch box or just shoved in your gob on the go. I always ponder after baking why I don’t do more batch baking for the week ahead, get those tins filled up so everyone is happy the whole week through. Thought I would share some of my faves you might like to get through this week, with everything going on in the world, we could all use some comfort baking.

Chewy sultana Biscuits
Home made Monte Carlo biscuits
Jam drops
Apple crumble slice

How’s your week ahead looking? I know I had a teary kinder kid on my hands last night when she heard that it was time to go back to school this week – it’s been a big adjustment getting her back into the swing of things. She’s find when she gets there, it’s just getting out the door and then handed over to the teacher outside of school that’s been tricky. We have Lucy’s birthday tomorrow which I am excited about, then of course the long weekend coming up for us this weekend. It’s going to be a busy one, but a good one ahead I’m sure. Stay warm and well friends x
