I think the main thing people kept telling me when I said I was going to Byron and that was “go to The Farm“. So this morning, we did.
I can see why everyone kept saying so – what an amazing spot. Basically a working farm their philosophy to Grow, Feed, Educate – they grow animals, flowers and vegetables they feed you at the Three Blue Ducks restaurant, the Produce Stall and Bread social and educate through various courses and workshops for kids. It’s a wonderful concept and one that is filled with a great vibe.
Happy customers, kids running around, amazing food and a beautiful vista. A triumph!
I had the moist delicious breakfast of salmon and kale (I know, who even am I?) followed by a very large package of jam donuts. The kids ran around, Maggie squealed with delight over chooks and piglets and the bigs let loose at the park.
Amazing spot – I will be adding my instructions to anyone that listens “go to The Farm”.
We are heading here on the weekend and I am SO excited! I’m going to a Rafiki Mwena fundraiser at The Byron. Will be fab. All of it.
Looks amazing. What’s that delicious looking meal with the dill cream situation on the side?
I do believe that was a black sausage something or other!
You captured The Farm beautifully!
Oh I follow the gorgeous Magdalena Roze on insta also- I think her husband is the chef/owner of Three Blue Ducks?? It always looks amazing. I would love to be able to visit there one day also. Looks like the perfect setup for a long lunch!
Oh my. How delicious.
Are you going for a drive to Nimbin? Can’t go to Byron without visiting Nimbin!
