The BabyMac 10 year birthday long lunch!

Amazingly – the tickets are now all sold out (in under 7 hours!)! Apologies to all that missed out, I promise to look at hosting some more events in the future (maybe even in different states) as well as different prices points AND to give more notice before tickets go on sale!

You guys! I can only apologise for how long this has taken me to get organised (I blame certain people turning 40 and 1 and you know, life). But I have it! The details at long last!

To celebrate 10 years of blogging I am hosting a private lunch in my hometown of Burrawang for 50 readers. Tickets are $100 each and include a great afternoon of food, fun and laughter.

I know this is going to be a really special afternoon filled with wonderful local food and drink as well as prizes. I’m thrilled that Nikki will be MC for the afternoon and of course you can catch up with my friend Mrs Woog too.

When is it?

Saturday 30th July 2016 1pm-5pm

Where is it?

Burrawang General Store Cafe
11 Hoddle Street
Burrawang NSW

Burrawang is about 90 minutes south of Sydney. First settled in 1862, the village of Burrawang nestles in the very heart of the Highlands. It is a village that is proud of its picturesque quaintness and its nineteenth century charm.

Our unique cottages and country gardens are little different today than they were a century ago.

The local business houses, too, are famed for their old-world charm, personal service and kind hospitality. Let our village take you back in time to an era of tranquility and peace.

So what does my $100 ticket get me?

This includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival with canapés, a 2 course meal with 2 glasses of wine and a chance to win a whole heap of wonderful lucky door prizes from some of my favourite places in the Highlands (think superior retailers!). You’ll have a chance to have a chat with me as well as ask anything in a live Q&A session MC’d by Nikki. The afternoon runs from 1pm to 5pm and will be hosted in the gorgeous Burrawang General Store Cafe where the fire will be roaring.

There may also be a little home made something from my own kitchen for each of you!

$5 from each ticket sale will be donated to the CWA (Country Womens Association). The CWA is the largest women’s organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children.

There will be a cash bar open to purchase additional Prosecco & Wine on the day. The Cafe is closed for this private function.

What’s on the menu?

I’m glad you asked!

Glass of Prosecco

******

Soup Shot, Carrot, orange and ginger with black tahini

Arancini with store made basil passata

******

Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder with salsa verde

Roasted chicken with lemon and garlic

Mixed roasted vegetables

******

Mini Meringues with mixed dipping sauces

And of course just let me know of any dietary requirements as well!
