  1. I just put the delicious Anne in the oven! My 19 year old boy child requested it this morning, how could I say no! We love it!

  2. Eying off that lemon sour cake, due to The Great Lemon Glut at our house…

  3. I made “Anne” for the first time on the weekend and she is nearly all gone. Good news though, it is my daughters 10th birthday on Thursday and she has requested “Anne” for her birthday cake. We are going to tart her up a little by filling the inside of her with lollies. Two “Anne’s” in a week…..mmmmmmmm.

I actually baked a half-sized Anne this morning. It’s cooling on the stove and filling the house with the most delicious smell. Once cool we’ll whip up the icing and Miss Four can go nuts with the decorations. Thanks again for this fabulous recipe!!!’n

  5. We regularly have apple pikelets here. I often use a jar of baby apple puree so that the apple goes completely undetected! If we have them for breakfast any leftovers go in the school lunchboxes for recess.

I baked katie180s strawberry brownie this morning it’s yum ,thanks for these too Beth xx

  7. I m getting up early tomorrow to make the Apple pikelets, thanks for motivation, my babies are in high school and need the sustenance and love in those pikelets to keep them motivated this winter, come on spring.
Anne will have to wait for the weekend to male an appearance.

  8. LOL sounds like I should try the Anne!

  9. I’ve been thinking about Anne since your birthday post, so last night I was laying in bed thinking of Anne. 11:30pm last night I couldn’t stand it any longer and drove to woolies to get the ingredients. Finally at 1am I had my Anne and she was worth staying up for.

  10. BABYMAC your recipes are bang on! I am more likely to try your recipes than those that appear in other blogs I read because you have a track record of posting awesome food, confirmed in my own kitchen. Thank you!
