Tuesday morning I got to hang out with some blogging mates {Gourmet Girlfriend & Green Been) for a coffee or two. I’m sure it seems strange to some people, catching up with people you have met online and not in real life before, but I can assure you that in my years of experience of doing it, it’s far from that.
Usually it’s squealing, and laughing and talking over the top of each other. This time kids were involved, as well as a delicious late breakfast. It was awesome.
We met at PORGIE & MR JONES
291 Auburn Rd Hawthorn VIC 3122
Next time I’m sure there will be wine or beer involved. Because there will always be a next time with people this good.
it has been one of the bestest things about blogging for me.
the fact that so many of my blogger pals are now IRL mates.
xxxxx
And not just IRL mates….BEST IRL mates! x
I’m so glad you girls got to catch up! Nothing beats catching up with like-minded souls, no matter where you met them originally. xx
Yes! What fun we had last October x
I love this so much! Looks like you had a wonderful time.
tx
PS I haven’t forgotten about that beer xx
And I can’t wait for said beer ladycakes x
Now I want croissants! Looks like an awesome morning. Yes, catching up with blogging mates is always good, soul-enriching stuff. xx
As we well know x
Porgie and Mr Jones – rocking choice!
Just around the corner from my Brothers place…LOVED it. I’ll be back for SURE
I have to confess, I haven’t done any of the bloggers conferences, or many catchups with bloggers, but the ones I have met (Bron @ Maxabella Loves and Brenda @ Mira Narnie), these experiences have been nothing but positive and absolutely wonderful! Glad you had a great time. I can see these girls have fabulous style. Love those accessories! xx
They were a very stylish pair…Daisy adored their outfits.
Look at the incredible shrinking woman Ruth! She is a total spunkrat!
Jeepers she TOTALLY is. She looks Amazing! Been working so hard…I’m in awe.
It looks like the perfect morning. I can also attest to the awesomeness of meeting up with blogging friends. I can honestly say that in the 6+ years I have been in Melbourne, the closest friends I have made have been in the last year or so, through blogging. x
It’s a pretty special thing isn’t it?
