I made myself feel better this afternoon by going into GAP and purchasing a new pair of neon orange jeans this afternoon. And a shirt with elephant prints on it. And a scarf, but that’s a different story.
We headed out to Chelsea Market this afternoon to sooth my Mid town woes with some time in Anthropologie. It’s like therapy for me. Soothing. Don’t worry I took lots of snaps which I will share with you soon. Afterwards we walked through the market soaking up all those fabulous foods on offer.
Fancy some lobster? You can get it here!
Sarah and I thought this place looked good.
It was raining so we couldn’t walk the high line. But there it is!
And here we were! Sipping on a Prosecco. How unusual.
Oh hello little mini slider burger imma eat you up. Yes I am!
After the rain cleared we got some beautiful afternoon light. I should have walked that highline but I was onto my third Prosecco by then and admiring the light. Priorities people.
I love this town and it’s hot dogs.
And these fire escapes.
And this stoop. It was VERY Carrie Bradshaw. Look! Pensive Beverly strikes again. I’m going to miss this place.
I am going to miss you all being in that place. Making my day!
Are you going to miss the place or who you can be in that place? The thing about different places is you can be whoever you want to be while you are there. So when you pack all your souvenirs make sure you pack up ‘that’ Beth and take her home too. Or at least some bits of her π
i just have to say i’m LOVING the frequency of your posts!
The Real Housewhyves ( said with a nasal drawl) of New York.”…..love it
I burnt the chocolate chippie biscuits due to the number of posts I was catching up on! Having not been to NYC since 1997 , I am now itching to run there after your trip!
Did you get that sign? NYC: tolerant of your beliefs, judgmental of your shoes. What a city! Enjoying your stories very much
