I get to this point of winter (with many months ahead for us with cold weather yet) and just want to wrap myself in a big loaf of SOURDOUGH. Comfort is a must when it’s freezing outside, and at dinner time when we have been running around with after school activities and late sport games there’s nothing like pure comfort than smelling something bubbling away on the stove top.
These are some of my faves to warm you up from the inside, that fill you up and can last a few days so you have plenty for lunch the next day.

Beef & Vegetable Stew
Zucchini & Parmesan Soup
Chicken Cacciatore
Tomato & risoni soup with pesto
How’s your week ahead looking? I am excited as Lucy and I are headed to Melbourne on Friday for all the retail Trade shows that are on. It’s going to be great fun to spend a few days meeting the wholesalers, finding new stock for the shop and getting some cool stuff for you guys for Christmas. We also have Harper’s recorder concert on at the Opera House on Thursday night which is always a treat. Until then there will be lots of work, running around and school stuff going on.
Hope you all have a good one friends…stay warm, hydrated and well rested (if that’s at all possible!) x
