I was up nice and early to see the sunrise and have a chat to some friendly cockatoos before we head off for the day of sailing out in the islands. We ate breakfast on the boat, grabbed a hot shower from the amenities on Hamilton and set sail around 9am. We headed to Whitehaven (moored around the back) before clambering over the look out to that magical view! We then ventured down to Betty’s Beach for a swim and a loll before heading back to the boat for lunch. After lunch was a move to a different spot for some afternoon snorkelling and then mooring for the night at Nara Inlet.
Just such a magical day filled with adventure and beauty and VERY good company!
We are here as guests of Tourism Queensland and Tourism Whitsundays staying onboard Cumberland Charter Yachts for 2 nights. All food provided by Whitsunday Provisioning.
Oh so GLORIOUS! That lunch looks delicious. I fear I would feel woozy on the boat? Although would be happy to take the risk! X
I am not one to get sea sick and there were plenty of chances with rough seas but I was fine. I was worried about the rocking at night but it was fine!
The pictures are gorgeous. And you are too!
Oh thanks Cyndy 🙂
Thanks for taking on this tough assignment!
*Tips hat*
