We’ve all had a lovely, quiet weekend at home filled with friends visiting, lots of time around the fire, some delicious meals, plenty of wine, boardgames, book reading, couch sitting, gift giving, dancing, singing (so much singing) and lots and lots of laughter. My goodness I feel full to the brim with happiness and good times – just good for your soul.
Hope you have had a good one too x
Beautiful pics and yes I’ve had a lovely weekend too ,thank you Beth xx
Glad you’ve had a good one Lisa 🙂
Looks so restorative. No wonder you are full to the brim with happiness.
My very favourite kind of weekend Annette!
My life has been consumed by work of late…. My husband and I have spent only a matter of hours in the same place over the last 6 weeks and my daughter told me this morning that she HATES my boss…. I’ve been thinking about the need to make some changes and reading and seeing the above makes me miss those weekends that I used to enjoy…. I think you just made my mind up for me Beth. Thank you x
I hope you get one soon – they are amazing what they can do for your state of mind (and heart). Fingers crossed for you Emily 🙂
That looks like a tremendous weekend!
A quiet one here, which was very much needed. x
Excellent x
I so love weekends such as this. We had a similar weekend, sans visitors, with no where to be except at home in each others company. A weekend of slow living – consisted of my husband, 4 children and lots of reading, baking, eating, drinking, conversation, fire, snuggles, teenagers that seems to co-exist with out tantrum – and it was fabulous! Perfect actually, nice to read you also had a great weekend. Doesn’t it set the week up so very well! Cheers to slow weekends and great company x
