Sounds like a perfectly normal example of positive parenting to me- positively painful and precious in cyclic and regular doses. I told my big kids for years that all those supermarket rides were broken and only paid when I had 4 kids on there to get value for $2. The newby as a single, has no chance. Ikea jelly, working husbands, wildlife invading the home…can we talk!?
