I was in my favourite local shop the other week with a round of visitors when I stumbled across this great range of rebound books which {I think} are from this site. They are beautiful old books which have had the covers taken off them, then rebound and turned into a journal…or a diary. The Golden Book diaries for 2011 are awesome. Plain and simple.
Anyway…how could I resist?
I am ALL too aware of Daisy’s Dilemmas.
By a Mrs Hart. Don’t you love it?
These photos do NO justice…sorry!
And just take a look in the front cover. The original owner’s name. A Miss {Ms? Mrs?} Belle Campbell. From 1912.
And of course a little picture from my Daisy…to get me started.
A GREAT gift idea for Christmas I think…
Lovely! I love finds like that!
You do know the Campbells are the arch enemies of the MacDonalds….
How nice for the book covers to have a new purpose and be loved again.
This is definitely going on my Christmas wish list.

How brilliant is that idea! I love it. x
What a beautiful keepsake! It came all the way from Meekatharra? Wow. My Dad worked in the mines in that bitty town a while ago- I’d love to know the ‘story’ behind the story. x
I have never heard of this being done, and I think it’s just amazing! How gorgeous.
(Just flicked thru your past posts I’ve missed – I’ve been so busy – and the cuddles on your couch…bee-yoo-tiful!)
Stop it! Gorgeousness!!
