There are many things I have been grateful for this week. Sunshine and clothes hanging on my line after many grey, wet days. A mobile library service that came to town and made Daisy’s day week month. A good afternoon walk, a perfect roast chicken, Maggie Beer’s burnt fig & caramel ice cream. SNOW! SNOW outside this morning, and of course this picture perfect entrance way into our house. There are pink clematis vines all over the house and as it has been such a late spring they are just now coming into bloom. They have the bees in a frenzy, look oh so pretty and are simply perfect.
Go on over to Maxabella’s blog and see what others are grateful for today…
Clematis? So jealous! They are just the most spectacular of flowering plants. What a beautiful, beautiful entrance.
What a beautiful entrance. I can hardly believe the snow. We missed it here, just (our house is a bit too low down) But it’s so, so cold!
Wow, what a stunning display.
I’m with you with two spoons for any of the Maggie Beer ice-cream = yummo!

That is stunning! I love everything you’ve posted about your house.
What a lovely entry. Do the flowers smell?
Wow! That photo is so lovely!
It doesn’t surprise me that The Uber Home has such a darling entrance. Your week sounds like it came from a magazine, so perfect does it sound. I know the reality was probably occasionally fraught with a screaming child and dust bunnies, but, sigh, I’m living the dream through you. x
