I am one happy lady this new morning. If the morning I have had is anything to go by, I think this is going to be one good year!
1: I awoke this morning with no hangover. A hangover free New Years Day is reasonably rare for me. I think the last one was when I was pregnant with Daise 3 years ago and then, well, probably when I was 15 or something outrageous like that. And it feels good. We had a quiet(ish) night up here with some local neighbours coming round for dinner. I did however manage to see in the new year with a glass of french in hand (and followed almost straight after by a breastfeed from a unsettled Harper – oh how times have changed!)
2: I got a call from these two…
My little sis and her man who went and got themselves engaged! I am SO happy for the two of them – they are one GREAT couple who deserve all the joy and love and happiness that you could ever have. Congrats you two! I know that your life will be filled with SO much fun and love and we all can’t wait to share it with you along the way. HURRAH! and YAY!
