Just a quick post….we are still away but now in Hong Kong! We left the apartment on Friday 2nd then had 2 nights by ourselves in Paris which was a little sad but still great to have 2 whole weeks there in total.
We left Sunday morning and flew to Hong Kong via Helsinki of all places. Not much to report on from there (snowy, icy, dark and minus 7 degrees outside). Then onto Honkers where we are staying with some friends from Sydney who have been living here for a few years. They have a great apartment with room for us all and views to die for. Tomorrow is the last day of our holiday – we fly out overnight to Sydney at 9.30pm and arrive back in Sydney around 9am on Thursday morning.
I am sort of (not really at all) looking forward to getting home. It will be good to be unpacked, and in warmer weather, and at home, but also sad that this special time will be over. I will miss spending every day with Rob and Daisy, eating out, drinking and seeing amazing things each and every day. I am also not trying to think about the fact that I don’t have a job to go back to. In fact this is all getting a little depressing so I will see you on the other side in Sydney, with some more photos and SO many stories to tell about this amazing holiday and the past 3 weeks.
