I swear to you this baby just gets better and better everyday. I am falling head over heels more and more each day I don’t know how much more room I have in my heart and then the next day comes along and I get a new sound, a laugh or a smile and I POP all over again.
Daisy is 10 weeks old tomorrow can you believe that? I can’t. It seems like she has been here forever and then it seems like time has flown by so quickly. It seems that the newborn baby that we had has gone and a bigger better, brighter version is here. It’s great to see parts of her personality coming out and Rob and I often sit and discuss what we think she will be like.
She is sleeping well these days too which is a dream and we have a (sort of) routine that we stick too most days. She is still eating every 3 hours – She has a good sleep in the morning from 9 to 12 (but not asleep all that time) then eats and plays then maybe another 40 min doze then mostly awake till 5.30 when we have a bath, then dinner and then in bed (and hopoefully asleep) by 7. She then usually sleeps till between 12.30 and 3 (has a feed anytime then) and then back to bed till between 4 and 6 and then the whole show starts again! She is such a happy little girl and a real chatterbox (I wonder where she gets that from!) I swear to you that she even tries to sing – I sing a lot of her – silly things all day everyday and she sometimes tries to coo along – we have a good old laugh together.
I have started to do some work from home as well this week which has been good. It’s good to get the brain working again and it makes the days fly by! It’s been great having a computer at home and the access to the internet is making me feel connected to the world again. It’s much easier than taking Daisy into an internet cafe where she always decided to a) wake up b) cry or c) do a poo that could only be cleaned by getting into the bath. I have also become addicted to Days of Our lives and I can’t believe that I have been able to pick up from where I left off at my University days where I was meant to be studying. For those interested Jack just came back from the dead (again) and walked into Jen’s wedding. Patch is also back from the dead but has amnesia. Riveting I tell you!
Anyway, better get back to my little lady. We are heading up to EIEIO for 2 weeks in a few weeks time which will be fantastic. Mum is coming up with me and then Rob heading up the second week. Can’t wait to show Daisy the place that has been so special to us – where we got married, where we found out we were pregnant etc etc. I hope to take her down to the river in the baby bjorn for a fish. I will be sure to take lots of snaps to show you all.
Funny this, it’s 2.00pm now…time for Days! Best be off xoxox
