Welcome to Daisy May Macdonald 14th Feb 2007 – 3.674kg 52cm

We have ourselves a little lady! How would have thought? We welcomed Daisy May into the world at 8.41pm on Valentines Day night after an induction and a 12 hour labour. Things looked like they could have turned pear shaped and we almost had to have a caesar but I managed to push her out into the world in the end.

We are all doing well – home today from the hospital which seemed like the hardest thing I have ever done – I can’t believe that we now have to look after her (without the help of any midwives or lactation consulatnts) it’s very scary. I will be able to update you all on her progress over the next few days I just wanted to add in some pictures of the prettiest little lady in the world!

Rob and I are so proud of what we have achieved and excited about the journey we have ahead. I just hope that I am able to keep her alive with my milk – it’s all very hard!

Will be in touch with a better update soon.

  1. Beth and Rob, we are so proud of you and sooooo thrilled for you! Daisy May is heavenly… a beautiful name for a beautiful bubba. Have faith in yourselves – you are going to be amazing parents. Little Daisy May is one very lucky baby to have you guys as her mum and dad. Take care, rest and try to snatch some sleep whenever you can.
All our love, Simes, Kate and Maddie xxx
