Walk to the Lighthouse

We made it to Byron! What a gorgeous spot! This morning I took the big two on a big walk from the centre of town up to the Lighthouse with a group of the family we are all staying with. I didn’t know whether my friend Harper would be ok to make the walk which I think ended up being over 10kms in total but there were no complaints at all.

Such a gorgeous spot around to Watego’s Beach and then up to the Lighthouse which incidentally is the eastern most point of Australia. It was a perfect morning for it….not too warm.

When we got to the top the girls spotted a bunny – can you see it below? A perilous place for a wee bunny to live!

And we were greeted with lots of whales to see too!

Before making the trip back down the other side…

To my old holiday bribe…a big ice cream with two scoops. Perfect Monday morning thing to do…and a long way from home!
