Over the Back Fence podcast {Season 5 Ep 5}

Neighbour and I are back for 2016 (FINALLY!) and hoping to commit properly to a fortnightly episode for you….thank you for being so patient with us!

This week, Neighbour and I discuss the joys of Whooping Cough, lockout-laws, show entries, the Super Bowl (yes – the Super Bowl. Don’t worry, it features Kardashians), de-toxing your womb and what your favourite biscuit says about you.

You can listen to it right now online here:

Or download it through iTunes and listen to it at a later time here:

Happy listening!

  1. Yay can’t wait to listen.

  2. Great chat Neighbour and Beth. I have had a whooping cough episode stamped on my memory for the past 25 years. My then 10 week old baby was in hospital with bronchiolitis, a tiny 6 week old baby was also there with a foul cough which turned out to be whooping cough. The poor little mite coughed and coughed and was sucked out by the nurses putting tubes up his nose or down his throat literally every 15 minutes. One evening he had a cardiac arrest – the mums who were there in the ward with their bubs or toddlers literally held their breaths as, seemingly, every doctor in the hospital rushed to help this tiny baby. I left hospital with my baby after 2 weeks and this little boy was still there. Apparently he survived but was left with some disabilities as a result of the cardiac arrest and lack of oxygen. This little boy was too young to be immunised. I will never, ever forget this experience and I have always thought the best way to encourage parents to immunise is to spend a few weeks watching a tiny baby fight for life. Even typing this post brings tears to my eyes after all this time.

  3. Woohoo! Thanks girls?

  4. Woo hoo!!! So excited to listen have gone through All of them! So good, thank you:)
