You know when I was talking about a Bonaca (I misspelt it bonitza but was told the correct spelling by a Croatian reader)? Well, today was well and truly one of those days. A perfect morning at the beach with crystal clear water, warm skies and plenty of shade (my ideal beach conditions) as well as happy kids, good company, coffee AND a potato scallop.
After lunch it was off to Bells for a pre-booked massage (I had the pregnancy massage) where I promptly fell fast asleep and snored through. What a place it is up there…love to stay there one day…superior blue and white soft furnishings.
Followed by a cheeky post massage pick me up in the form of iced coffee and cake in the late afternoon sunshine.
As far as days go, I’ll take it.
How’s your Wednesday been?
Is it Wednesday?
Oh how I miss potato scallops!
They are just the very best when they are good!
What a perfect day you’ve had! I’m still on holidays (albeit at home) but enjoyed today, how could you not in this glorious weather. Just took the kids to the beach for a late arvo swim – fabulous.
Weather has been perfect!
What a beautiful friendship you and Nikki have…girls who day spa together are pals! How cute is your bubba tum?! Adorable x
Oh thank you for saying it’s cute…certainly doesn’t feel it!! x
Your day looks like perfection. Great photos and great memories made xx
Beautiful summer colours in these shots…agree!
Heavenly day right there. Gorgeous photos x
It was – thank you!
Looks a lot nicer than my day I did cleaning! I am glad you’re having a lovely holiday Beth xx
Oh Lisa I will be coming home to a DISASTER. Christmas decos still up and Christmas morning mess EVERYWHERE! Can’t wait for that clean though x
It IS Wednesday here … but only just!
Not sure it’ll be quite as perfect as your wonderful day … but reading about yours this morning certainly sets things off on a lovely, chilled tone xx
Enjoy your day!
A finer day I cannot imagine. How was the water? (Apart from the DUMP!) xx
THAT was not nice xxx
Ahh those pregnancy massages are divine. A lovely day catching up with another mum of three, it was crazy, busy and noisy but we laughed, had coffee while the kid’s swam! I’m envious of your day in the sun!
It was a cracker Em!
Yay! Finally a belly shot! I’m loving the blue and white china. We all should have some blue and white china. The whole day looks divine. Hope the heat and the little heater inside are both treating you well.
My Mum has enough blue and white china for the WHOLE world!
got the clan there beth! and you girls certainly know how to holiday! … I’m pretty good at it! … but after the sand, having massage at bells would have been gorgeous!
loving the sun shelter! and gorgeous photos! … cheers guys! m:)X
The sun shelter was great – so nice to sit under x
Nothing like some sunshine, a baby belly, fantastic friends, a spa day and some scallops! What a wonderful Wednesday! Mine was much more mediocre, but then again, yours was pretty hard to beat! Happy Holidays!
Thanks Sammie x
Huh! Your falling asleep during the massage reminds me of a friend who fell asleep during a massage and woke up when she farted! True, it was a friend, not me!! She was obviously very relaxed.
These past few days have been perfect beach days, its amazing.
We are a bit further south than you, at Tathra.
I love this time of year!
Hope you are still enjoying Jenni x
You SO won me with potato scallop. Scoffed myself my first of the year yesterday and damn it was good xx
They are the very BEST.
Oh Em Gee, Beth
This looks like a day sublime. So utterly perfect!
I am suitably jealous.

Looks lovely. Beth – can I ask you where you bought the sun shelter from?
This is one that Nikki had purchased…from a company called Sunny Jim.
I think you may have just had the perfect Wednesday. Looks like a dream. x
It was!
Looks amazing! Please do tell me where that wonderful beach tent comes from?! My pale pale skin would adore the beach much more with this!
This was one that my guest Nikki brought with her…it’s from an Aussie company called Sunny Jim Auz I think – they were great!
