Saturday: Sunday

I need a few days to recover from the weekend. It was very busy. Lots of socialising with friends and neighbours on Friday night, and then Saturday afternoon into the evening and then again yesterday afternoon. Too many drinks. Children that are overtired. But it was good fun.

And in between? Well the girls jumped. And jumped. And jumped. On the new trampoline that Rob put together on Saturday morning.

Rob sat and pondered, well, most things, from the hammock he finally managed to get put up for summer.

I sat and watched all of them with a coffee in hand recovering from one or another of the hangovers that I seemed to have.

The sun shone, so we ate breakfast outside. Easier to get back to the jumping that way you see…

It finally feels like summer is on it’s way.

I have such a busy week ahead of me. Prepping for the 35 people we have for lunch on Sunday, visitors staying for the weekend, school, birthday parties and all the rest in between. I am actually exhausted just thinking about it all. Oh well, best get on with it with swimming & supermarket shopping this morning.

  1. Lovely photos. Your weekend looks like fun. The girls seem very happy with their new outside toy. We had a lovely weekend visiting family in the upper hunter, and my children love playing with their cousins. We have to drive back to Sydney today.
By the way I love love love your chunky white watch. Where is it from?

  5. Cripes Beth, you sure know how to pack a lot into your weekend! I thoughts ours was tiring enough. And yes, I love those little plates, too! J x

  6. We have a springfree trampoline. We’ve had it for 4 years and I swear hardly a day goes by where the kiddies don’t use it, great investment. Love the hammock too!

    Bouncing bliss!
Hope you find some down time somewhere in your crazy week.
