June photography challenge: Week one

At the end of May I was getting my daily fix over at Chantelle’s blog Fat Mum Slim and liked the look of a little photography challenge she was putting out for June. It’s simple – each day you have a subject – you take it – post it. I have been posting on Instagram which I love, love LOVE. I love telling a visual story of my day. I love seeing what other people are up to. I love being inspired by great photos. I just love taking simple little snaps and getting instant feedback. I have a new addiction most certainly, which is a little dangerous as my children were neglected enough already.

While we are only one week down I thought I would share with you what I have been up to.

Day 1: Self Portrait

Day 2: What you wore today

Day 3: Clouds

Day 4: Something green

Day 5: From a high angle

Day 6: From a low angle

Day 7: Fruit

I’m looking forward to the next few weeks which I will share with you to. Who knows why this appeals to me so much but I simply can’t get enough of this stuff.

Comments

  1. Love love love that low angle shot.
    What is your instagram id?

  2. I see the appeal. Maybe it’s because it’s nice to look and let our imaginations elaborate on the one image.
Love the roots shot. It’s very artistic even!

  3. @ellie – it’s BabyMacBeth

  4. How cool! I should do something like that as I’m so keen to get better at taking photos (see, I can’t even bring myself to call what I do ‘photography’!!). Do I need to add Instagram to my life? Probably not… but you know I will! x

  5. I love your pics! I have seen people doing this challenge all over the place and it is interesting to see how you all approach it. I can’t take a photo to save myself so have abstained x
