Southern Highlands Guide: Who to follow on Instagram

I always get asked so many questions (plus it’s the biggest search item on the blog on the weekends) about where to eat, drink, shop etc in the Highlands and recently I have found myself tagging friends in various Instagram accounts so that people know where to eat and drink and shop. There’s no hiding my love of Instagram, especially when travelling to find the best places to go. It’s always a tip of mine before I get to a destination is to look at a location or hashtag for a location and then search shops through accounts on Insta…you instantly get an idea whether you like the look of something and it creates an itinerary before you leave. We did this in NY and I’ve started looking for an upcoming trip to Victoria these holidays. Most businesses use Instagram these days as a way to extend their brands and social media, so it’s a great way to keep in touch with your favourites or discover new gems.

So, here’s my comprehensive list of accounts I follow on Insta here in the Highlands where I keep in touch and do my new discovering. So many places I still haven’t been to yet…but until then I can follow on Insta!
