Monday meal ideas: an Asian twist

The one thing I miss living down here is really good Asian food. There are a few places to get food but it’s not that fresh, crisp taste that I like with Asian food – lots of herbs and a mixture of spicy, salty, sour and sweet that I like – more like fried and a little MSG. Anyway, it means that I try and cook as much as I can – here a few favourites of mine that always get a run in the house with everyone enjoying them. They are all kind of the same now that I look at it: herbs, chilli, shallots, garlic and ginger…

What’s on the cards for you guys this week? We have Daisy at the Opera House tonight in her recorder performance then some mid week visitors (Aunty June for afternoon tea on Tuesday and Dad and my Step Mum Tues & Wed night). It’s going to be a busy one – but then again aren’t they always?

Hope you all have a good one x

  1. Hi Beth,
We love Asian foods but none of us are big corriander fans. ( I know, we’re freaks!) Can you suggest a good alternative? Flat leaf parsely seems to be my go to at the moment.
