I mean look at that lemon, butter, thyme, garlic & pepper. They were all just sitting there, looking fabulous and enticing me with their flavours that I just knew were going to taste as good as they looked.

Just so
You know sometimes when you are cooking dinner and you look down on your chopping board or bench and see things sitting 'just' so. Perfectly? Just BEGGING to be photographed? I wish I could then take photos to make it look like the magazines. Must keep practising that. In the meantime, here is my chicken roast that was BEGGING for a shot.

That looks soooo good! Yummo!
ReplyDeleteThe lemon inside the chook did you cut the lemon in half or is that a whole lemon with no cuts in it what so ever?
ReplyDeleteMotorbikes_Lady: lemon was cut in half (as picture shows above). Think I actually used 2 whole as I had them there and thought I would use them up!
ReplyDeleteYUM!
ReplyDeleteYou can come cook at my house anytime!

Mmmm, I like the way your roasting pan sits on top of the vegetables. Maybe I need one of those!
ReplyDeleteI just ate dinner and still my tummy is rumbling looking at these pics.
ReplyDeleteBeth, your scan pan roasting dish... do you love it? I am thinking about getting one for my partner for his birthday but am unsure of what size or brand I should get. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteWithout a DOUBT, it's my favourite kitchen item. I use it most days and it's held up remarkably well given it's thrashing. I had a big one but it didn't fit into our oven so we have a medium size one now. My MIL also has a small one which is adorable. HIGHLY recommend x
DeleteThanks so much! I ended up going with the medium one and bought the lid to go with it too... So excited for it to arrive so I can have a go at this recipe too :)
